Trip to France 2015 (Day 8, 9 and 10)

This morning we watched a movie at the high school and then visited the museum of Alsace where we had a tour guide that explained to us what life was like in the region during the 1900’s. Students had a picnic downtown and then we headed to a nearby nature center for high ropes course and zip lining! Despite the high density of mosquitoes students had a blast!

Our chaperone for today was Esther’s mom, one of the parents hosting here in Strasbourg.  Esther told her mom that when she was in the U.S. so many of the American students/families organized events where all students hosting and their correspondents were invited. The French students had so much fun at these gatherings that they decided to have a pool party at Esther’s home over the weekend. Students hung out, ate, swam, and danced from 6 to 11 pm. From the pictures I saw it seemed to be quite a memorable night.
