Trip to France 2015 (Day 13 and 14)

Bonjour de PARIS!!

We arrived yesterday morning, dropped off bags at the hotel and headed straight to le Louvre where students had the afternoon to check out the magnificent former palace and art within. Students were surprise at how small la Joconde (Mona Lisa) actually is. After dinner at an Italian restaurant we went to the famous avenue Champs-Élysées and went to the top of the Arc de Triomphe where we had a beautiful night view of the city.

“Paris at night is full of color just like during the day because of all the lights.” Sara

Today we visited Napoleon’s tomb at l’Hôtel des Invalides in the morning and then took the RER out to le Château Versailles. Students had dinner in small groups in the Latin Quartier and then we headed to the large avenue Les Champs Élysées for an evening stroll.

“After having spent two weeks in Strasbourg I feel like I’ve opened my mind to new things. Become a different person. Don’t be afraid to go outside your comfort zone. To regret something is worse than trying something new.” – Natalie
